Villa Investment
Bali just got a bit better. W Hotels Worldwide has unveiled its first residential project in Indonesia: The Residences at W Bali – Seminyak. Each of these 79 private villa-style residences on a stretch of beach in Seminyak is fully furnished and has a pool. The one-to-three-bedroom villas range from 2,450 to 7,700 square feet. Owners of villas (prices start at around US$1.5 million) enjoy four weeks of access to their properties: for the remaining 48 weeks, the villas are part of the property rental pool and looked after by W Hotels management. In December, the adjoining W Retreat & Spa will open, with 158 guestrooms. www.wresidences.com/bali
